      Don Killuminati asked:

Zhouyi, this is don Killuminati and my question to you, is: "What is the supreme ultimate teaching of yours, Zhouyi (the I-Ching); in other words, what is the essence of your ultimate teaching and counsel to a young, ambitious man like myself?" Sincerely, asking don K.?

    29 Pit

The Statement of the first hexagram

      Repeated pits.
Have confidence.
Tether your heart and continue.
Action brings honor.

    The changing lines

    The fifth line:
The pit is not yet flooded to the brim.
No fault.

    The sixth line:
Tied and entangled. Thrown in brambles.
For three years, nothing can be won.
Misfortune.

    4 Youth

The Statement of the second hexagram

   A youth must be steadfast.
I do not seek the naive youth.
The naive youth seeks me.
At the first divination, I explain,
but after three times, it is irritating.
Annoyed, I explain no further.
Nevertheless, a gainful omen.

The Image of the first hexagram

    Flowing water comes:
repeated pits.
The noble one moves
with constant virtue, and
repeatedly teaches
the critical matters.

The Image of the second hexagram

    A spring gushes
below a mountain:
the naive youth.
The noble one nourishes virtue
with determination.
